Subject:   iPod Skip Track Does Not Keep Album Order
When I play an album on my iPod Photo 60Gb, it generally keeps the correct order until I skip a track. Then, rather than play the next track on the album, it plays a seemingly random track off the same album. It doesn't go in alphabetical order, and it doesn't go in the order the tracks were ripped from CD (which would be the correct order).

The only way I can play an album in the correct order after skipping a track is to forward almost to the end of the track and let it complete the last few seconds.

Skipping tracks in iTunes works fine. Any ideas what I need to do to correct this?

Check the setting on your iPod to make sure it isn't set to shuffle or random.

Shuffling your songs

There are two ways to shuffle songs on your iPod. From the main menu you can choose Shuffle Songs. This will play all the songs on your iPod, except audiobooks, in random order. If you always want your songs to play in shuffled order go to the Main menu, choose Settings, and then Shuffle. You have the option to shuffle by song or album.
Just go to where they say here and disable shuffle.
