Ok, I just got an Ipod shuffle, and it is cool. I have Windows ME, so I don't have Itunes, but I got a winamp plugin to work. My only problem is that some of my music files don't work in the Ipod. These are Midi, and one is a .mpeg. Some of my favorite music are on these extensions, and I know there are file converters online, but the free ones are only shareware and convert a minute of the song.
Anyone know of a free but full version converter, preferably .mid to mp3 or .mpeg to mp3?

Ok I found out how to convert the mpeg to mp3. If anyone's interested, go to and download the swift sound converter. But since midi isn't actually an audio file, it's notes in a sort of text file, it wont convert that.
