or the current March quarter, Citi is estimating Apple will sell 34 million iPhones, down from 35 million, and during the June quarter the consensus is down to 25 million from 32 million. In the U.S. and Japanese market, full-sized iPad tablet sales are in decline by more than 10 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2012.

It's not that big of a surprise. Apple's competition is getting better, while the advancement of Apple products aren't progressing as well as they used to. The jump from the 3GS to 4 was pretty big, while the jump from 4s to 5 really wasn't. And the jump from the iPad to iPad 2 was pretty big but the jump from the 3 to 4 was... a new processor. Not to mention the mini was a jump backwards to the iPad 2.

While I'm content with my iPad, I'm thinking of switching over to Samsung when it comes to my phone. That is, unless Apple can wow me with a phone that has the ability to be talked up by consumers and not just by Apple themselves.
