A bunch of songs I had on my Ipod got lost when I accidentally synced it to Itunes on a new computer. I downloaded all my Amazon MP3 files and re-synced and renamed my Ipod, but I'm still missing at least 170 songs. Is there any way to get those lost songs back on?

The pop up screen says "the file could not be found" despite loading all my Amazon MP3 purchases into my library.

Do you still have your old computer? Perhaps you could resync it using that restoring as much of the old music as you can. Do you not have to enable each sync with a new computer?

Have you tried smashing it with a brick?

You can get your shit back if one of the following is true:

1. You've backed up your phone to iCloud.

2. You've backed up your phone to your old computer and still posess that computer.

3. You backed up your phone prior to the update (it usually asks if you want to do this, if you click no typically you're *bleep*ed because Apple things like to set themselves back to factory sometimes for no reason at all).

If no to all of the above call Amazon and see if they can transfer your shit over otherwise you're dicked.
