My Power Button on my iPod Touch is completely out of whack. One second it is on, the next it is sleeping, then if i press the Home button it takes a picture of my lock screen, and it locks and unlocks rapidly. Sometimes it sits there for a minute, sometimes not. I almost always use my ipod to get on Neo, so i'm very upset now that I will struggle to continue in some forums I currently follow. If anyone knows of this problem, and maybe how to fix it, I'd love to hear about it.

It's a 2nd Gen Ipod Touch, 16 Gigs. Version 3.1.2 (7D11) jailbroken using BlackRa1n by my friend, who i bought it from and traded in my old 8 gig one. It worked fine before, I used the thing for a month... then when I put on this case I found that i had earlier, it started getting all messed up. That case had also been used on my other two ipods, both which have broken powerbuttons. I suspect the case did it, but can't be sure.

Thanks,
Tom

Did you accidentally drop it or did anything happen? It sounds like your button is kind of pressed in at the moment.

LOVE your banner!

No, I haven't dropped it since I bought it. It worked fine beforehand... Now I struggle to use it. I think it's something inside the ipod maybe, because it only happens if I try to press the button. It goes crazy for about ten minutes, then subsides. But if I accidentally press it or something, then GAH!

How long did you have it for? You might be able to get it replaced if it's still under warranty.
Also, thanks about the banner, made it myself
