My brother got his I-phone yesterday. We're trying to connect it to my wi-fi. It's not having it. The network comes up, says enter password. I put it in and it tries to connect, then just says failed to join. Any ideas what it could be?

It's saying failed because you need to enter your network's password, because it's connection type is secured. Look at the bottom of your router. Find the area that says "something Key". The something will differ depending on your specific type of network's security. For examplel mine says "WEP KEY". There will be a series of numbers next to this, that is your password.

Also, be sure to select join known network's so whenever you get back into the area of your internet connection, or restart your iPhone, etc., etc... it will automatically join. Otherwise you will have to repeatedly enter the password.

Hope I could help!
