Here is the problem I am having. I have my songs on my Windows 2000 computer and it won't download itunes 7.5 because it is only compatible with XP & Vista. The new nano only works with itunes 7.5. I don't have my old ipod because it was stolen so I can't transfer the songs back to my new computer. Any help would surely be appreciated.

If you have access to another PC with XP or Vista you can use another form of media, like a CD, portable HD, etc. to copy your files to the other PC, then use iTunes on that PC to import them into your iPod.

You may find some software which could instead of iTunes to help you transfer music and video for iPod.
Here I have used this free transfer which seems could transfer music and video between iPod and computer.

In the thread index the last post discusses alternative programs to sync the iPod with. (For some reason direct message links aren't working).
