Somehow, my playlists disappeared from my iTunes. They are still on my iPod. How can I recreate them from my iPod?

You may try this iPod manager, it can help you copy music and playlist from iPod back to computer, hope it helps.

Thanks, I couldn't find playlists when I tried it. I could do individual songs, or albums, but not playlists. Was I using it wrong?

Yeah, forget about that program. It's a crappy shareware program which provides features that you can find on freeware programs.

Try Sharepod. It's free and it says it supports copying of playlists off the iPod.

I can down load it and unzip it but every time I try to run the .exe file, it generates an error report. Am I doing something wrong?

Try downloading it again. It sounds like the file didn't download correctly. You may want to try downloading it form another site.

It would appear to be a bigger problem. I don't automatically sync upon connection, so when I went to sync, it said that my iPod isn't affiliated with this computer. So what happend? I have more music on iTunes than I have on my iPod, and the only way it says to get them to sync is to erase my iTunes library and replace it with my iPod library. I don't want to lose music from either! HELP!!

It could be either a connection or a PC problem. Read this article.
