Microsoft can supply you with a transfer kit if you contact them. You can check Xbox.com for all the details.

well for sure dont take the HDD to a used game store, you will end up paying more if you trade it in for cash and then go and buy a new HDD. you could put it on eBay for $125 or so i guess, then buy a 60GB for i believe $100 is what they are new now.
but do you want to lose 60GB and only gain about $25? i would keep it if i were you. im down to a couple GBs on my 120 HDD and wish i had a bigger drive.

BTW, if you get the transfer kit you cannot transfer data from a larger hard dive to a smaller one.

oh yeah thats right. you will have to use a memory card instead, make sure its the biggest one (512MB?) so hopefully youre saves will fit. but thats your only option since Dark reminded me that you can only go from small to big with the transfer kit.

You're better off just keeping your 120 gb HDD, you might use up all of your 60gb one day.

Just keep the damn hard drive. There is no good enough reason for you to downgrade.

Theirs no certain that if you sell the hard drive on ebay, that someone will by it and send you the money. Keep the hard drive, you may need it in the future.
