I think these characters are going to be my favourite ones, as always:
Mario will probably be the all-around character, while Peach and Daisy will be the weaker ones. I am not sure about Yoshi, though.

I don't like using Luigi as much. It just feels kinda weird although usually he's an all around character...
I suppose Yoshi would be be pretty fun to play with (Seeing as I always use him besides Mario)

Wario-he's funny
Shy Guy-They're cool, but don't tend to be playable
King Boo/Boo-I like both, but prefer king boo. He was in Double Dash, maybe he'll be in another game.

I have never heard of fly guy until Mario tennis.
I think he should be in this game. Even though I don't like to play as him in Mario Tennis.

I'd like to be Daisy, Luigi, Yoshi, Koopa, and Paratroopa.
I just like playing as Daisy in most games, and one of my favorite colors is gree, and lastly, paratroopa is my favorite character!

You know who my favorite is. She would have excellent running speed and fielding ability, but average hitting. Her power rating would be respectable. Speculation.
But Daisy should not wear her regular long dress, she should wear a yellow shirt, ditch the crown for an orange hat (Hair tied back, in form), and wear some orange shorts with yellow trim. You know, softball-like?

Hmm.. I like J.D.Drew, and basically all the Dodgers, check profile for more.
If youre talking about Mario baseball, then its Mario. Who ever thought a puffy guy could hit a baseball?
