I know you can snake pretty well because I seem to be racing you on wifi daily. XD So I think your problem with PRB is you don't know if you're getting a perfect boost start or not. I first learnt zipper PRB. Try gcn Luigi's Circuit. You should charge your orange sparks as you go over the zipper. When you hit the ground, release the sparks and start to snake. Go through the sand to the right and if you are PRBing properly you won't slow down.
Getting a boost start can be annoying but if you look at your bottom screen there should be a continuous line of red arrows. Test this on Waluigi Pinball. If you get a perfect boost start then there will be red arrows all the way into entering the cannon. If you didn't then you'll see one or two yellow arrows. You need a perfect boost start for PRB, but your timing will get better with practice.

Naw, you can beat the staff ghosts without snaking easy as pie. As a matter of fact, every staff ghost, besides Donut Plains 1, has been beaten without doing a single miniturbo.
Also, two minutes for Bowsers Castle, which one? I'm assuming you mean the retro course, but for the other, two minutes isn't bad.

iBoss, 1:54 on AF? I need to do an all-nighter to catch up...after watching WCG at 10. Sub-53 on YF is crazy too. Your time works out to...17.629 lap. My flap is somewhere in the 17.5s.
