It's not really what monsters you fight so much as the regions you fight in...

Personally, I teleport between Grey House and Darkwood Weir.

Anyone know how to play Fable on the XBOX 360?

There was a thread on this in the Fable TLC forum.... I wouldn't spend too much time in the TLC forum if you've got the original Fable - it can get confusing - but here's the link to the thread.

Trolls, Hobbes and Undead. There is no answer to what the best monster to fight is. Those are just some suggestions. Every monster gives you exp, and renown.

1 awesome place to go for experience would be the cliffside path, near the lychfield graveyard. the is infinte respawning undead, for TONS of experience. (if anyone cares..)

The question, though, was where to get experience after beating the game. The Undead don't respawn on the Graveyard Path once the game is beaten.

If you got the arena quest, go to ancient cullis gate area
and there should be a ruined bridge like building, which leads to the exit to the north, walk over it, then go back to where the actual cullis gate is, and infinite earth trolls spawn, I dont think this will work if you beated the game, but its worth a try

also if you are looking for nice monster fighting, try beating the arena until right after the scorpion, then hero save and reload and to it over and over and over until satisfaction, this is the best way to max out your stats

The troll in Darkwood is still there when you beat the game, and will show up even before the Arena quest.

If you hero save after the Scorpion, though, you'll lose all the money you earned up to that point. To get the gold, you have to either finish the quest or elect to go back to the cells. You go immediately from the fight with rachanox to the fight with Whisper, so if you want to keep the money you earned, you have to choose to go back to the antechamber right after the rock trolls.

In addition, the Arena is a great way to earn experience, but it's not the best. The best, as everyone else says, is the Graveyard Path quest, from the Graveyard Path region to the Cliffside Path. In the Arena, you have only so many enemies to fight, and you have to wait for them to come out while your combat multiplier goes down. On the Graveyard Path, the Undead respawn infinitely, all around you, allowing you to get a CM in triple (or quadruple) digits, which earns you exponentially more experience until you have as much as you want in far less time than it would have taken you to collect it in the Arena.

ow btw for some nice magicka experience upgrade, get the summon spell and fight to get a high combat multiplier, then when you have defeated all the enmies or during or w/e rapidly resummon! the combat multiplier will give you some nice multiplier in magick experience, making every summon spell count for like 200 (or even 400 if you got the multiplier on 20)

also eating a lot of red meat earns you some nice strenght experience

you probably know all that etc but still

yeah fighting undead there is the best, but arena gives more gold indeed, I forgot gold gets saved too, so thats why you have to go back to cells >.<

I do think its kinda cheating, cause then you can just end up getting the same silver key over and over again, making opening all chests look like a piece of cake!

also the undead there are anoying, cause I like the combination of slow time and multi attack (not the ghost sword or the multi arrow, but the multiple hit in one hit)
and the undead just spawn too slow with slowtime >.< so my combat multiplier goes down faster than it increases!

well I have the lost chapters, and the original, but i was leveling up on the cliffside path with the original fable. maybe in TLC, once you beat the game, the undead stop appearing, but not in the original.

It's actually the other way around; undead stop respawning in the original, and keep respawning in TLC. You could have just had a glitch; I've never heard of anyone else being able to fight undead after finishing the Bargate Prison quest, and I've never been able to.

Also, don't double-post; you can use the "edit" button in the bottom right corner of a post to add, change, or remove something.
