Actually I think it more accurate if you say that both Megaman and Protoman are equal. Protoman has his sword and Megaman has his buster. It's like guns and swords.

In my opinion Protoman is better than Megaman, not because of skill (equal there) but because he is far less gullible and not quite as easy to manipulated.
By the way, being able to control the Darkness is not supposed to be a good thing. If the Dark was GOOD then Nebula wouldn't be a threat.

That's a good point, Defender of Chaos. Chaud and Protoman have much more experience fighting, and are less likely to succumb to any deceptive trickery.
If Protoman and Chaud could learn to fight with their hearts as MegaMan and Lan do, the two of them would be much more powerful, no matter how corny it sounds. Protoman does only what he's told, and probably has no affection whatsoever for his operator.

megaman and protoman are equal protoman has skill and a sword megaman has skill dubl soul and chaos unison (megaman will try the first chaos unison on the 5th season megaman acses dark)

Blues is extremely strong on his own, but MegaMan is actually stronger because of his strong friendship with Lan. Chaud and ProtoMan don't share the same bond that Lan and MegaMan do, which is why Rockman and Netto are able to defeat them most of the time. If Chaud were to spend time bonding with Blues, then they might actually become stronger than Lan and MegaMan.

protoman...maybe something like normal navi, differences
ifferent look,buster sword,expert operator,goodly trained really goodly, and thats all....bass is most powerfull, megaman isnt really much better than normal navi its just about lan because without him megaman would be something like half of his normal power,protoman and chaud are quick virus busters and really powerfull, roll with mayl is little like nnormal navi with heal chips and moving really fast, gutsman and dex are really powerfull and decent at fights, clyde and yai are good because of glyde is so intelligent that he can easily make good strategies for yai,s rare chips(i wonder if she has a bass chip), numberman with higsby is a nearly like glyde and yai because of really intelligent navi and operator with many good chips, dr,hikari is even alone really powerfull i think that he could win even bass with a normal navi, and what others were there?...
but anyway a navi alone bass is most powerfull.
