Swordmaster, far higher crit rate. Marissa should be your assassin. A maxed skill Swordmaster Joshua with a Shamshir has a max of like 68% crit. 0.o

Assassin's pwn all! better defense, better con, better resistance, and a lot beter critical! Graphic wise. Anyway even with that uber crit... I still barely critical.

I pitted Joshua as a Swordmaster against Marisa as an Assassin in the Link Arena. Both level 20, both with Shamshirs. Marisa attacked first, but Joshua pwned her anyway. There you have it. Swordmasters are better.
Besides, Assassins aren't strong enough a significant amount of damage against an opponent with decent Defense anyway.

And MIF, Swordmasters are better just because of swords and much, much more skill.

What are you people idiots? Col as an assassin beats out Joshua as either any day. I'm sorry, but I raised them both to level twenty, promoted them and raised them to 20 again, and Joshua died twice on me in Lagdou. Colm was yet to die.
I simply bought a crapload of Killing Edge's and gave them both 4-5. Problem solved, they both do critical hits ALL the time.
