I read that this game is going to be in either original black and white or updated color. How exactly is that going to work? By black and white do they mean the old gameboy shades of green?

All the screenshots are in color, so I assume the games will all be in updated color.

I thought they meant there would be an option to turn the color on or off. But I think you're definitely right about them all being updated.

i think that you will be able to turn the color on and off. fo the full feel of the old school.

I like old school. When I used to have a gameboy pocket, you didnt need much light to see. But now on my Gameboy Advance Sp, I have to turn on the light every time I play or else i cant see a thing.

Capcom said that you could play the game in either Colorized mode, or for purists to the original format, Black & White mode. I believe that there will most likely be an option in the main options menu to turn color on/off. In regard to whether it will be true "black and white" or greenish, I believe it will be like the original Gameboy, and thus a greyscale format.
This game, obviously, did not receive the May 2004 launch that Capcom had planned for it, nor did it receive the Holiday 2004 launch that was later planned...I emailed one of their representatives recently to ask when it would be released and they said before the end of 2005, so hopefully we will see it by the 2005 Holiday Season.

Ah, but alas. It still does not appear that the game has been released. But someday, eh? Maybe?
