Sort of, but it's not like living in houses more, you need to achieve in jobs, get into restricted areas with enough reputation points, get money to buy furniture, and so on. You still need to fulfill your daily needs such as hunger, hygiene, bladder and so on. Ok, there ARE animals but there's only one, a troublesome bulldog. It loves to *** and to get it, you unlock the (only) goal in your apartment which is buy $750 worth of furniture.

heheh The game will never give an option to change the name of your pets. And the animals in this game are worse than the animals in Unleashed. They really **** a lot and there's no way you can kill your animals
even if you don't feed them.

Well its not like you can take them out for walks and even take them with you to the different districts to show them off or something.
