Subject: Problem loading game, Help!

I have the Dreamcast import version (obviously) and i have a save file with Shin Akuma, and a bunch of color edits that i like. But when i go to load my file the next time i turn on my DC it says the file is there and i click yes(on whatever it says, i cant read it
) it just brings me back to the file selection and doesnt load anything. Anyone know the problem?
