Subject: Diablo ONE in a window

I've seen all of this nonsense regarding diablo II in a window, but is it possible to play diablo one in a window?
I want to play this game on my laptop but it is a widescreen and forces it to minimize after the game is open for a few moments.
It works fine, just doesn't stay open.
I've tried making a shortcut and putting '-w' and '-window' in the target line and this does nothing, unless I'm doing it wrong.
anyone care to try to help me out?

It might be best to try the Diablo 1 forum.
But not that I know of. Maybe changing the screen resolution might fix it.
