Subject: Long Ago In a Distant Land... -------------------------------------------
quote
I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku!
ITT: Nostalgia and epic cartoons that are now replaced with crappy shows.
Samurai Jack was awesome, especially how all the violence wasn't rated anything because they were always robots.

In my eyes, there are two shows named The Simpsons. One is a timeless classic that had a bit of a rough start (first two seasons kinda sucked, although the second gained some momentum after a while), but they developed the comedy and hilarity ensued for 11 seasons. It's the most quotable show on the face of the planet.
The other is a mediocre show with maybe a couple of funny moments every now and again.

I feel like the Simpsons peaked with the movie tbh. I still watch the Simpsons regularly, but it's not as hilarious as it used to be.

I felt that it peaked with Behind The Laughter, but the movie was surprisingly good.
At least the show's getting better after being so drastically mediore in seasons 13 and 14 (and maybe 15 to some extent).

Simpson became mediocre after season 17 and peaked between 8-16 for me.
