Hey everyone,

This is my first time building a computer and i'd like some help choosing a build for it. I'd like a computer that is extremely fast and can be used for gaming on decent to high settings. Stuff like BF3, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, etc. I like hd graphics so a good video card is a must as well. My budget is about $1000 but some more could be added if its really worth it. If it helps any, i live in the U.S. and next week is black friday so there will be a lot of deals on computer parts if i look around so you could name some alternative pieces that might be a bit more expensive normally. I appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks!

Rick

Sorry I couldn't help you before black friday, I'll see what I can do now though.

Do you have any preference on brands? (AMD, Intel, nVidia, ATI)

Here's a video tutorial from Newegg.com:

Part 1 - Choosing Your Components: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw

Part 2 - Part 2 - The Build: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_56kyib-Ls

Part 3 - Installing an Operating System & Finishing Touches: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxaVBsXEiok

The OS is up to you. I'd personally get Windows 8 because it's the "latest and greatest".
