Anyone ever play these? They're JRPGs with a Western setting. I've only ever played the third game, but the music to all the games is amazing.

Games:
Wild ARMs
Wild ARMs 2
Wild ARMs 3
Wild ARMs 4
Wild ARMs 5
Wild ARMs: Alter Code F
Wild ARMs XF

I've only played the 3rd one as well, and it was easily one of my favorite games on the ps2. The gameplay and the amount of depth was incredible and had tons of replay value. The music as mentioned is also very good. I am very tempted to purchase Wild Arms 1 and 2 on the playstation network, but I have other games to complete first (xenogears, grandia and suikoden).

I stopped at 3. Cowboy and Wild West theme were awesome. Wild A.R.M.S. Part 1 threw me for a loop with its story. Didn't know there were so many games in the series!

I've played 4 and 5. Never got around to finishing them though, my copy of 5 kept breaking (almost gave up on 5 because of a certain puzzle too) and I can't figure out a certain puzzle in 4. :/

Isn't Alter Code F a remake of the original from the PlayStation?

Yes, and I think they also re made the original for the PSP as well.

Thank you Two_Step. On a small note shouldn't the thread and OP show it as A.R.M.s since it was an in-gamr acronym for Ancient Relic Machines?

Strategy? In my Wild A.R.M.s Ground? I take it you mean the in-game music tracks are superb because I went looking for a soundtrack with no avail...

The entire OST is on Youtube. There are Youtube to MP3 converters you can use, but I'm pretty sure that Neoseeker's rules prevent me from linking any of them here.

I played a bunch of these games and thought they were pretty sweet. The one I played was pretty damn challenging as well. I was a lot younger though.

Played them and loved them all except 4 which had to much arcade style jumping in it for me. I do so want another one.

Wow, there's so many. I have played 2 and 3. The third was amazing!

I own Alter Code X but never got around to playing it. There's way too many games on my list at the moment.
