Go thru the door and when you get out, fall in the hole. You will keep going down, and hold left. After u get the coin, go to the middle or you will fall to your death. I had a nother friend who couldn't find it

I cant' find any eggs. I have cheated and gotten a walkthrough for this eggs but when I go through the mirror side I only find mushrooms and coins to play the slop machine, but no eggs! What am I doing wrong? Could it be because this is a used game and someone already played the challenge before? If so, is there a master reset? Any help will be appreciated.
