Subject: Gandalf and the wolves

hey, how do you get past the wolves when you first get Gandalf? i went straight first then right but i ran into wolves and they killed me at least 5 times. i tried magic but it didn't work. how do i get past them? then which way do i go?

i had the same problem. instead of trying to fight them, its easier just to run past them, collecting miruvor and stuff as you go. once you reach the other side of the lake(oh yeah sorry just go left along the shore and youll get to the other side) and to the gate of moria they will stop following you.
