This is a kind of funny bug you can do in Java. You need to be ICHEAT and do the All Weapons code. When at the part where like the 4 Roach Gunners try to kill you in the cranny island radio tower, use your Machine Gun to kill them instead of the normal turrets. Go to the end and blow up the Shield Generator. It will show the blowing up of the Shield Generator, but instead of the Alpha 1 launching, the movie of the turrets killing the "invisible" Roach Gunners. Then you will be free to move about without a boss to bug you or aliens.
