1. Metroid Prime takes Samus' Phazon suit and turns into Dark Samus.
2. After defeating Dark Samus, she revives in the atmosphere on Aether.
3. And now after the game, Samus heads into hyperspace, being followed by a some ship.
Thoughts please...

It is Dark Sylux, a Phazon induced entity created by Dark Samus. It is a lead in to a Metroid series planned for the Nintendo DS, which ran into delays and will now be released for the 3DS near the latter part 2011 or early 2012. There are 2 games following this subplot. One will be ported for the Nintendo Wii as a sequel for Metroid: Other M, and the 3DS Metroid title will be a follow up to Fusion (Which is the title that will incorporate Dark Sylux).

Sylux is a stalker. He's always following Samus. He hates Samus but I'm starting to think that he actully likes her.

Screwing Malkovich as Samus "I wuv u..." person and replacing him with Sylux would have an interesting result.

Right now I'm imagining a perfect world where there is a MPH:2 for Wii. Each hunter has a melee attack (kind of like they all have their own alts) and there's a headset like the ones on Xbox live. The clan possibilities are infinite.
Samus being evil would suck. More than her uber wedgie in Zero Mission.
Just because the ship is the delano 7 doesn't mean it's sylux's ship. For all we know, it could be a very popular ship and there could be billions of delano 7 ships out there.
IIRC the Delano 7 was a prototype, could be wrong there but also could explain the few changes, this ship being the finished version
whatever happens nintendo DONT continue the Sylux/ships pilot story with a game having single player similar to MPH, sylux had they most mysterious past out of the MPH hunters and i wanna know more
and Rundus and Noxis's races seam all to similar to me
Anyways quick question guys, please answer. When you complete the game, and it asks you whether you want to save or not to start a new game on Hyper Mode, does it save over your current file or lets you start the new game on a different save slot?
Just because I will want to come back to my current save slot to refight the last boss etc.
[Edit] - Due to looking around the internet a bit more, I think it does overwrite the file. Nevertheless, I will keep that file as it is, and start a new file on Veteran mode. After doing that I will finally overwrite that to do Hyper Mode.

WTF @ bold.
