The jungle was silent, no birds sung, no insects chattered. The ground shook slightly has a lumbering wyvern passed by sniffing the air for her next among many kills. a sudden shuffle of the under-brush and she turned and charged blindly at the creature. Surya the ioprey darted in the opposite direction she was a young ioprey and unaware of the dangers that lurked around every corner.
Near by a small pack of iopreys cocked there heads and opened there mouths, tasting the air when a wave of fear-scent washed over their scent glands. Surya burst through the underbrush a rathian at her heels, surya leaped into the water. The Rathian, driven by hunger and her preys fear leapt blindly into the water.
quickly realizing her mistake she thrashed about in the water but only suceeding in getting her claws stuck in the thick river mud. Surya paddled torwards the shore and jogged off torwards the rathians abandoned nest. The rest of the pack followed after instinctively knowing what was lurking just beneath the surface of the lake.
Suddenly a large fin burst from the waters surface and rammed into the drowning rathian. the last Surya heard of was the cries of fear and anguish that was ended with a final splash.
Surya entered a cave that led to the wyverns lair there a Bullfango was happily browsing for some mushrooms. Korin the packs Iodrome crept inch by inch torwards it. a few others followed suit. the bullfango suddenly turned and prepared to charge.
Suddenly Korin and his warriors burst apart along with the rest of the pack. they quickly formed a circle the Bullfango losing its rage cowered and began to panic. Surya and korin burst from the ring.
Korin using his headcrest pummeled into the its side, knocking it over. surya mixed her enzymes in a pouch on her throat and using her tounge exereted venom into its eyes. has the bullfango screeched pitifully the clan each took a bite of their squirming prey before stalking onwards, senses still alert
(keeping the intro short, but what do you think?)

Ch.9 uncharted lands
Sakura (just to avoid confusion sakuras name isn't liek the naruto one its pronounced different * sah-kurra* ) gagged on the metallic taste that ravaged her mouth. Darius just cvered his mouth looking even greener then Rosane did, Snowend looked at the three. " whats the big deal its only a little blood" he commented taking a few steps forward the carcass. Looking at it, he frowned and poked at its head with the tip of his boot staring at the glossy unfocused eyes.
he moved away to stare at the three again "what!? you guys just gunna stand there all day we have to find shelter!" he roared. The rest just nodded numbly and followed "wait a minute!" darius spoke "i cant go without a weapon" he added quickly. Snowend satred disbelieving at him " what kind of hunter are you, not bringing a weapon!" he scoffed. Darius drooped his head and mumbled " sakura just give me those daggers for a second" she complied. He jogged over to the dragons corpse and deftly hacked off the rasor like teeth. Once his task was finished he ran over to a nearby tree and cut off a branch (think of a very crude basebal bat). scooping up his materials he wlked to the carcass and began cutting into the cartilage that kept the skin to the body ( if any of you have done disection youll know what im talking about)
he then began drilling holes into the teeth and wood (the way youd start a fire) once teh task as finished he took out his pack and began rummaging until he found what he was looking for, salt.
(this isn't the whole chapter, ill write more if some one can figure out what hes doing!!!)

ok, ok well i dont rememebr the last time i updated but excuse me for having problems and writers block, i ahd a rather low demeanor for my writing but i must say im impressed. Anyways if any of you still ahve faith in this story then i can gurantee you that there will be fluff (goo goo gaa gaa puppy love between our two favorite heroes!), comedy and a good helping dose of the monster hunter life!

CH.8 saving idiots
Darius quickly moved out of the folds of the baloon his eye on the rathalos that had come to save them. Rosane managed to free herself from the folds haswell unknown to the danger that waited her. But has she emerged from the broken balloon she froze has the tension built up in the air. He noticed that the gray dragon heaved its chest has it prepared to unleash a ball of fire. The rathalos followed suit but it was to late has the dragon quickly spit out its attack. But what surprised darius the most was taht its attack was not fire related at all, in fact, it was the opposite. He watched has the presumed king of the wyverns was comedically sent flying backwards to the sea, frozen solid.
Darius gaped at the creature has it grunted triumphetly but he ripped his vision from it has he heard a barely audible thump was heard. darius gllanced has a small sphere rolled infront of the dragon, "oh crap!, duck!!!" he screamed and covered the awe-strucken traveler and Rosane has the object exploded in a flash of light. Darius looked up has soon has he heard the tell tale sighns of a succesful flash bomb. He looked up oblivious to the murderous intent that was radiating off of the dirty, mud-encrusted, Rosane. Has he looked up he was taken aback, there before his eyes was Snowend. Fully clad in armour and his hammers ears up showing that he was about to unleash his combo attack, but not only him. Sakura was there aswell with one of HIS weapons, he barely opened his mouth before they set to work, Snowend ran torwards him and using the hammers strcture spun and crushed one of its legs.
Sakura wasted no time to demonize her weapons has she to jogged over to the fallen dragon. She raised one of her blades and through years of training unleashed the most devastating series of attacks that no weapon could match. Darius covered his eyes from the carnage, even though he was a respectably powerful hunter he had never used the combo and never liked to watch it. when the sounds of ripping flesh and screetches of pain subsided he lowered his hand. It wasn't a pretty sight there stood or more like kneeled stood a panting sakura her entire front view a cascade of crimson wielding soaked unrecognizable weapons and the dragons stomach was an unrecognizable mass of gore.
Snowend grinned and patted her roguhly on the back hsi hammers beak placed horizantally on the ground has he leaned against it still grinning like an idiot. Darius looked royally disgusted and Rosane had just recovered from losing her lunch. Sakura smiled sheepishly at them Darius and Rosane also noticed taht her teeth had a fine coat of crimson on them too. "eww..." Darius moaned taking noticed that Rosane turned around again losing even more lunch on the ground.
(yes i know its not exactly the best chapter but i promise that ill have a funny joke later on in my mini-sode)

sorry for not writing for days but.. got caught up in activiies and other forums, sites, and the fact that i though nobody was reading after i stopped writing 4 a while
yes well that in writers block although i have an idea but it wont last 2 long so maybe ill just make a mini-chapter
