i was setting my controls for starfighter controls, and i saw that in the list of controls was zoom, so i set it to L3, and tried it but it doesn't do anything. so i assigned it to another button, but no matter what i put it as, it never did anything.
if anyone could help me please post here.

i dont know if i want to zoom. i mean it might give you a better view of the enemy but i like the wider point of view.

As in go really fast? You hold down L3 and press forward on it.
Actually, its R3. R3 controls the throttle, and pressing it in makes you turbo boost. But as others said, Starfighters have no zoom mode, which would actually be quite a useful add-on in some situations!

no i mean zoom, like what you can do with a sniper rifle. what you're talking about is turbo. I also saw that in the controls section, along with zoom, so they must be different somehow.

I've never assigned it to anything else so i wouldn't know what it's like. Perhaps you just hold down the corresponding button.
