Countless hours of customization, gameplay, Blitzball Domination, Monster Arena Perfection, Nothing less than complete Final Fantasy X Mastery.

ALL GONE

In an INTENSE moment of stupidity, my brother saved his FFX game over mine, completely erasing 6 months of effort.

The idea of starting all over again is too taxing to even consider. He has effectively killed any and all desires to indulge in the FFX experience.

I'm planning at least 2 weeks of slow agonizing torture. Any Ideas ? Anyone ? Mental or physical, doesn't matter as long as he suffers.

I was thinking of erasing his FFX game-save, but even I can't do something THAT cruel.

The Tragedy, I hadn't even finished the game yet, I refused to do it until I had Everything perfect.

I've had quite a few bad experiences but this is the most memorable, i had Yunalesca in her last form and ready to be destroyed so i began to fool around with other things and before you know it i was stepping on the controller and apparently, pressing triangle skips turns and just my luck...it happend TWICE! Allowing Yunalesca to finish me off the last two of my characters when i could have easily just used Holy on her and killed her.

It's funny but, it seems everytime I'm walking back to the save sphere in the Omega Ruins, I get ambused by the Great Malboro. Almost like it was programmed that way. But I never lost anything big, maybe about 15 minutes at the most because of that. A lot of people I've talked to say it was hell to get Tidus' Sigil, but I think it took me just a little over any hour to get it. It really wasn't that bad. But Lulu's and Kimarhi's...forget it. I got to 173 bolts, with pausing every now and then and taking a break. But that was as far as I got. And Kimarhi, I can get to that last butterfly, but I always need about an extra second. Granted, it's not like I've been trying for weeks, but it's really frustrating. I rather something like Wakka's, I mean sure, it took me at least two days of biltzball all day to get it. But at least you just had to play out the time. These two just get repetitive and annoying after so long of just coming up short. But, I'll probably be trying again after I'm done with this, hehe. I'm trying to unlock Nemesis now, this might be another annoying thing... Oh yeah, I wanted to say that I agree with that person about sitting through the story and being annoyed with the Yevon religion having such a big influence on...well, everything. But the fact that they met and unmasked everyone's "god" as to what it really was, and defeated him...well that made it all worthwhile

the real Stef

I had played out the game and I had beaten almost all the Dark aeons without Zanmato, I only had to defeat Jojimbo and Anima, but I was getting a bit bord so I saved and reset. I started a new game , but when I got to the save-sphere I did it to quik, I didn't noticed it until I saw "saving", but ofcourse, it was to late. I had erased my first savefile. you just had to see my face, when my sister came and saw me watching the tv with my mouth open, she started laughing so hard that I just had to hit her

My method is that every time I make a decision I'm unsure about, I save to a different file, just in case I change my mind. After playing that file a while, once I've progressed far enough that I'm confident in my decision I save over the old one again, going back-and-forth. If I get a new decision first, I'll make a 3rd file. I know this doesn't sound like it makes sense but this ensures I always have more than one file after I'm a few hours into a game.

backup copies? People have been saying to do this a lot. My sister cant play the ps2 very well so im ok there. And some people have been saying that they done about 2-3 hours work then something happened and they had to do it all over again? why dont u just save at every save sphere that actually matters?
