I'm going to set this up after some folks recently sent in fantastic reviews for the site. Not only have they met the requirements we set out, but they have gone into such detail and added so much to individual reviews that they deserve mention. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to review since the guidelines change, you've all been doing great, and most of the problems found can be fixed in ten minutes or so of work! =D
If you see any great reviews on the site, I think it would be worthwhile to drop a link so people can see what truly great reviews are. For example, today madtown got his Ninja Gaiden review accepted onto the site, one of the best examples of a review which was well done in quite a while, beating out some other recent reviews I thought were impressive! Folks like madtown and Vito Raliffe are examples of users who go over the top, and should get extra credit for that.
Thanks to all the folks out there who take the time to write reviews, while it looks like you only get the one extra point for it, people do notice what you do, and will appreciate and remember you for it.

The CRS (Contribution Review System) team is a body of volunteer members who have proved themselves over time to be exemplary, with a long history of contributing to the site, which in turn gives them the skills and knowledge to effectively manage the contribution queues. It's all explained here.
Man I forgot this forum existed. Alyssa what exactly is the CRS? And thanks for the compliment

Bumping because I've really been digging Demonfurby's last two reviews (one of which is in the CRS).
I'm noticing a lot of improvement in our older veteran writers over the years - just look at Gryzor's Contra and Spec Ops: The Line reviews side by side, or Monterey Jack's previously mentioned (well, 4 years isn't too long, right? ) Killzone 2 and Serious Sam 3 reviews side by side. Hell, not to toot my own horn or anything, but the difference between my White Knight Chronicles and Dishonored reviews is night and day! It's amazing, really. That's not to mention the stuff that the newcomers Praetorian_Lord, upmagic and the aforementioned Demonfurby are pumping out - these are also very good reviews. Vergil would be so proud.

Looks like Crazyhand takes a few pages from the Vergil school of reviewing. His reviews of Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time (which I completely agree with) and Kingdom Hearts 2 definitely feel like it. If he reviewed more often, he could make for a good replacement for Vergil if he's too *bleep*ed in the head to continue reviewing.

Hey Ryan, maybe you hurry up and submit some shit already!
Gonna tell you all right now, Aevers is no longer a one hit wonder. I'm rather impressed by her Final Fantasy 13 review and wouldn't mind seeing more out of her, though given the time between Legend Of Legaia and Final Fantasy 13, don't get your hopes up.
Two of his most recent ones. I just want to point them out because that's the sort of level I'd love to see all game reviewers achieving. And it's clear they are good quality since he wins AoE so often.
Not a frequent reviewer, but it was a good read none the less. Drew some good comparisons and well encompassing.

Well, time to spotlight a few more.
Gamecube Guru caught my eye with the reviews he's been submitting. His Mirror's Edge review was good enough to scoop the win in AoE, but his Alex Kidd In Miracle World was also an excelent review.
It's also nice to see the book section getting some wonderful attention. Kiffa submitted her Twilight review a while ago, and Dark Arcanine gave us his verdict on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Doing a book review after spending so long on video games isn't easy, so they both did excellent work producing these reviews.

I found your, Insanity Prevails, New Super Mario Bros! review really helpful. I was actually thinking of getting this game and the review really influenced my final desicion to do so.
