You can usually get Yojimbo for a few thousand gil under his asking price.

Actually I found out that the you can pay him lower than the last price around 20,000-30,000 Gil and he'll still except you.

Teleport spheres are not worth it. You probably won't even have that money by the time you can first access him and after you get the Airship, there are a million better ways to get it.
First state: "To defeat the most powerful of enemies". He will ask for 250 000 gil. Offer him 125 001 Gil, He'll lower his price. Offer him 150 002 Gil, He'll lower his price again. Offer him 175 003 Gil, He'll ask for 203 000 Gil. Accept this, you can't get much lower than that.
I advice you save beforehand though, seeing as this technique is not fool-proof (altough in my 3 games, he never rejected an offer) and you'll be forced to pay him considerably more if he rejects your offer.

Those Teleport Spheres aren't even close to being worth the 400,000+ Gil you'll pay for them.

I'm not sure about Prices, but always pick the answer : " To defeat the most powerful enemies " ... That automatically makes his price lower ^^ Also If you offer him 3 times his asking price, you receive 2 teleport spheres for your troubles XD ... //

I always pick the third option, then offer these amounts:
1st 125,001 2nd 150,002 3rd 175,003
Then I except his final offer, which I believe is around 210,000 Gil. I'm pretty sure he can be gotten for less though.
