best way to lvl up is the death frontier no chasing for battles the whales rarely counter....actually they never countered with me, xp is on average 300 and about 70 to 120 gold you might not think it but after about an hour of play you'd be surprised

I used vanishing stone but you need all 50 star dust, and magig shield and Alberts Rose Storm but I also have Dart and Rose equipped with casque and legendary armor. Just keep hitting him with Darts Blazing Dynimo Alberta Flower storm or what ever its called and Rose Demons Dance DO NOT USE MAGIC AT ALL IT WONT DO HARDLY ANY DAMAGE!!!

After collecting all 50 stardust you can fight that faust dude underneath that tower where you fought Lloyd.

And When going to try save or after trying to save Shana from that dude who captured her from the dude who claims to be emporer Dias if you fall down the hill and go all the way to the back of the fort you'll find a boss.

And after the Dias stuff you can fight all the origional Dragoons (except for fire and darkness and light) you can go back to the place where you came across the old silver white dragoon. There's also stardust in that area too.

That high? Yeah, you could rip through just about anything with that kind of power.

Since this thread is about secret bosses, how easy/hard was Faust that time through? I usually try to fight him, but I always have some amount of trouble before beating him.

I hate Melbu Frhama . He's annoying !
Then you'll really like my banner...

Anyway, you might want to consider the Soul Eater + Therapy Ring combo for Dart. That way, you'll get a little extra damage at the cost of an accessory slot. I know, you get the Soul Eater from the Polter Armor (secret boss in Fort Magrad), but you can also get it elsewhere if I'm not mistaken.

Also, Melbu does have a form that doesn't attack you at all (the second one, if I remember correctly...?), so use that time to heal up and prepare for the next round. When you're ready, continue to smack him around until he changes. Just keep the pressure on unless he steals someone, heal when necessary, and use your Dragoon spells wisely, and you should be fine.

Some extra levels wouldn't hurt either, so first things first...

The triceratops on the dragon mountain will suit your levelling needs.
It appears most often on the edge of the cliff directly ahead of the stairs you took to enter the area.
I see . I'll take note of that .

It's not like they're out of the way, the game is pretty linear.
Take my directions and EXPLORE.
Use Albert's "Rose Storm" spell in your Melbu fight, it'll halve all the damage done to you, and for three turns at that.
I know I could do that , but I have no time during the battle for support actions like that . I suppose I need to raise the party's level a bit more before I fight him ... Well anyways thanks for the advice ... I think .
