i play lots of games in the ff series but ffXII was a really great game but as much as i love it at some points its just so hard,and all my charecters are level 22 and we are up to the part about defeating the elder wyrm it is impossible, i had one older account that was all lvl 27 and they still had trouble defeating it help?
Take out his 2 treants first. Make sure you have the Rose Corsage accessory and the Esuna spell. Put rose corsage on you magic caster so when sporefall hits and gives you a bunch of status effects, you can esuna your inflicted characters. Note that is also is ranged so if you see it about to happen and run away, It may not hit you. You can also use guns or bows to be out of range from this attack. You might want to think about some quickening chains (if you can) to get him down a decent amount... If after all of that it still doesnt work level up some more. Also, since sporefall can confuse some party members, set up a gambit or manually use smelling salt on Larsa so his never ending hi-potions can be optimized
Or if you want to, you can go around him and come back later. Head through the feywood to the paramina rift to get up to mt bur-omisace, but just flee through as you will get your ass handed to you there.

hello, this be ill! im sorta new to neoseeker, but im not at all new to RPGs or the FF series for that matter. i've been playin these games since FF7 came out, loved it! and FF8 was awesome as well. but i've got to say, 12 is my favorite of all time because of the different battle system, and the story line and characters. the playability is also a good thing: the game is more open than most previous titles. im mostly on here for the forum disscussions and looking to make some new friends!

I'm a huge fan of final fantasy, been playing them since the first one cam out on regular Nintendo. I gotta say that FF12 is my favorite so far. I am going to get 100% on this one.

Hi everybody, i'm Dave and i'm glad i found this place where all FFXII fan unite and share their ideas.
Have been playing FFXII since it's first-release in japanese version. Just replayed back recently, obtained all the accomplishment (equipment & rank).
Currently re-playing it to find and create self-alternate quick guide...

Not exactly a first time gamer here. Played most of the FF games to date. This one is alot of fun and can keep you busy. Started playing again after a bit of a break. I have too many RPGs and other great games to play.
Real life? I guess that sort of gets in the way from time-to-time too. Anyways... Just thought I would say hi to the forum.

hi. still playing this one. have well over 200 hours on my current game, still trying to get everything done. but have NO intention of ever going to Bahamut!! 3 character at level 99, working on the others now.
