Alright, this is a debate thread, meaning you take a stand and support it with details. No names, flames, or in general bad stuff, okay? Good, then I'll start.
Debate: Which game is better and why, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, or Call of Duty: Finest Hour?
I've owned Finest Hour for about a year and a half now, and I'm still playing it frequently. I played Big Red One several times at a friend's house. And I have to say, I like Finest Hour much better. Here are my reasons:
-Both games seem to be of equal length, but I think I played Finest Hour a bit more. -The graphics in Big Red One were a big step down from Finest Hour, especially characters. -Big Red One concentrates on one soldier, which to me go's back to the MoH style, taking a hundred hits and still surviving the war. -Big Red One does have a larger variety of weapons, but the weapons in Finest Hour are modeled better. -I don't know how multiplayer in Big Red One is, but Finest Hour multiplayer is fantastic and is well balanced. Also, many complaints have been lodged about not being able to connect to games at all. -The levels are better made in Finest Hour, with tank and infantry charges, sniping from a factory, and ambushing a German village at night. Of course, that's just three out of nineteen levels.
Hmm, that's all I can think of right now, but I'm ready to rebuttal any arguement aimed at me.
Thread Recap (last 10 posts from newest to oldest)
Finest Hour is obviously a better game because of its lenght in levels, graphics, and value but what both games are missing is a split-screen multiplayer mode which I beleive would have made both games much better.

I think that both games are well programmed but I'm going to go with Big Red One because the story line is with Americans. No offense to anyone out there.:_oops

the bombing thingy)
I believe you mean the bombardier position. But, the way I look at it, flight simulators were made to model World War Two aircraft combat. Call of Duty should stick to what they do best, infantry combat with armored vehicles (not aircraft) thrown in. Unfortunately, I can't test Big Red One multiplayer, but I'm sure it isn't many times better than Finest Hour.

I think Big Red One's online feature is better then Finest Hours becuase there is more places and events to choose than Finest Hour, plus the levels are way more interesting like the leven in Big Red One where you are in a plane and you use the three different weapons(machine guns and the bombing thingy) are much different then only riding tanks.
