Do you Guys think Roy will be improved at all or will they just give him a new costume and keep his simple hold down B sword attack.

I never owned Melee, but I did use Roy a time or two (because my friend did own Melee.) He seemed pretty similar to Ike, but I think Roy personally looked cooler. I wouldn't have hurt to have three Fire Emblem characters. =/

1st uv all, Roy is the best thing to happen to Super Smash Bros. since...well... Super Smash Bros. Melee came out. If yor skilld like me at this game, he is invincible. I even beat Classic on Very Hard with One Life and didn't die (so I could get the Fire Emblem Level...LIEZ!!!) ans 2nd uv all, I do agree Roy should hav a new moveset. his B left and right and B down move is fine. They should make the B up move less like Marioz B up move and more like Fox's. Hiz B move is strong, but useless against human playerz. so they should change that move completely. And 3rd uv all, if Sakurai-san duzzint put Roy in Brawl, then i might go Hulk on sumune:#!!! But If that happens, I'll settle for Pit or any other Fire Emblem character (like Ike)

Marth should only return to brawl becuase roy was a clone and Marth is the prince of Fire Emblem.
Bumping any characters would be pretty half-minded in my opinion.

Marth probably does have a better chance, simply because he was in the first Fire Emblem. Roy was in the sixth, and was pretty much in SSBM to promote said game.
But I really do hope that Roy returns. He was my favorite character.

Fire Emblem is a turn based strategy game. You have small band of warriors ranging in classes from magic users to sword fighters, each with unique attributes and equipment, and move the units to attack the enemy's army. It is based mostly on tactics.
I think Marth has a better chance of returning than Roy. As said earlier, Roy was placed in the game due to the fact that his game was coming out around the same time as Melee. Marth is the hero from the original game, and is the only (as far as I know, may be wrong) lord to have a direct sequel.
As much as I love Roy, I can see him as being one of the characters, if any, getting bumped off the roster. In fact, Marth and Roy may both be replaced by one more well known Fire Emblem character. Since Melee, the US has gotten a fair share of Fire Emblem games, and a switch in the lineup may not be so outragious.
What are Fire Emblem Games? I still want a character simlar to Roy though.

Bumping any characters would be pretty half-minded in my opinion. Both Marth & Roy should return, but this time with a revamped move set.
