-Trades can only be conducted by different people. -A player who leaves a person cannot ever be owned by that person again. - Free agents may be signed, however I will not provide a roster for this. -Player positions may be changed-- however only once. -You may release players, except those picked up via free agency.
Once FULLY completed, I'll post the weekly scores about every three days. Every four GAME WEEKS I'll update player stats. With luck, it'll act as our "Football Fix" until the Madden game arrives.
All information regarding weekly updates can be found in the Overview thread. All updates will themselves be posted there, so be sure to check. Still can't post there though,
FYI adrenalrush, this does mean you don't need the Draft thread up. I'm not sure if it takes up bandwith or something... but at this time, it's no longer needed.

Well do be aware that is isn't all the players that make the team. Coaching staff and philosophy have everything to do with it.
For example, real life Pittsburgh is known for a tenacious defensive line-- as seen here with the same success. Indianapolis is known for its high flying passing attacks that open up the running game-- again seen here.
Having Tom Moore and Dick LeBeau as respective O and D coordinators also increase the awareness of players during the game, and have everything to do with player progression.
The Green Bay Packers have two 99 rated defensive ends, and all three linebackers rated above 94. Yet their defense is not in the top 5. Why? This is the key to the game.
For one, there is the difference between the 3-4 and the 4-3. Right now, I've decided to switch them to the 3-4 because with Porter and McGinest at DE, I essencially will have 6 linebackers on the field at all times. All highly rated. I also altered sliders to have a aggressive D and changed it so that my linebackers, the defensive key, had the highest prioity. That doesn't mean it will work, you just have to play with it a little.
Little things like this can be the keys to victory and defeat, and I suggest everyone check the sliders of their teams and cross check how that applies to their own team. It makes all the difference in the end.
However, as I said before, coaching staff may prohibit some kinds of change. Ever notice how "NE Coach" (Bellichick) lead Patriots rarely lose in the playoffs? That's because even though I hate him, he's a good coach. Unbalanced? Maybe. But realistic none the less.

Week 6 is over.
Looks good for Pitt and Indy again, probably an AFC meeting of some sort in the future. Interesting to see them in a few short weeks as well.
Jacksonville has been taken out of the playoffs, it seems, because Rudi Johnson has come down with a 7 week injury. Jacksonville's second string is Aaron Stecker and does not pose much of a threat on the ground.
However that can only mean good things for Indy... their AFC South opponents hold 5-12 combined record. Indianapolis has 5 wins all to themselves.
Kelly Campbell has also been injured, which looks to make some impact.
