I think you should just try to make it and see how far you'd come.
The story... Hmm. It does provoke interest, however, it depends on how well you keep getting the interest of your reader back on the story, or drawings, if your story is read fully.
Advice... Erm, if it looks good, make it bigger?

If your hands are too used to doing DBZ, try drawing 18 or Bulma or Chichi. Same style, still female.

Okay, this is me messing around with a new character I am planning. So far his hero/costume name is Alpha. He has like a microchip planted in him as an experiment. So he's like part machine and part human, he's a nanohuman (if that's a word).

I guess if I was going to make a comic with him, I guess this would be how his first line would go: "I couldn't remember anything... I only remember waking up to the sound of the alarm blaring... on the other side I can hear metal scraping and tearing... I look around and I see dead men in white coats all over the place... the door... it was torn open... I tried to get up... but... the pain, it was too much... With all the confusion, I didn't even notice the hole in my chest... I sat there, breathless... but I wasn't... I didn't need oxygen... something was definitely wrong... that's when..."

???: "Alpha, you're awake..."

There stood a dark figure at the spot where the door use to be.

Alpha: "Al...pha?"

That's when all this began...

Okay, character description:

#1: I was inspired to draw this version of him from the appearance of Spawn and the broken mask from Haze. His arms can be morphed into weapons... sorry no guns/range weapons.

As an example, you can see on the left that his arm is morphed into a sword-like weapon. Excuse the guy with the purse, petty thief...

#2: I came up with this version from adding onto the first one, I removed the cloak. I added like an air-filter thing to the mask, needs fixing, looks like it's just hanging in front of the mask. Yes, he can still morph his arms... no still no range weapons.

Added an armor that resembles Vegeta's Saiyan-armor.

Suggestions please, they will be considered and may even be added.

Lastly, if you have nothing to say, at least answer these questions:

1. Is this a potential character?
2. Did the "background" story seem to catch your interest at all?

I need these answer so I can improve them, so please answer even if you're not going to comment. Thanks in advance.

So that's why there's two layers of shadow.

I figure, but I still can't seem to draw girls. Maybe it's from all the DBZ drawings when I was a kid.

Well, thanks, but that piece is actually a fanart. The teeth are also on the outside, it's like a part of a mask.

Supa Saiyan Gogetta, I'm very interested in your art. Looks like you take a lot of time perfecting your work and I like how you think of new ideas to draw upon. My favourite piece of your art from you is the drawing where you can see the teeth through the cheeks.

Hm, I've been putting some thoughts into the story, and so far nothing.

Haven't seen him around for awhile now, but this sketch reminds me of Torebaa. Maybe it's the hair style... well whatever.

Can't draw girls, can't draw wings, so that's a final piece right there.
