I understand. Besides, it was just an idea. I like to contribute. Also (sorry if I'm being a pain), but has there ever been a forum awards? Perhaps, if you like the idea, it can happen later on in the year.

And I suppose you're right, but the way things were turning out before the GD we would come up with spur-of-the-moment MKDS topics that wouldn't really merit their own thread, but were still far enough off-topic to be dangerous. I was going to redirect them to the GD, but I lost track of most of them, so I guess the problem's been solved.

The way you set it up was too dependent on participation, methinks. A lot of people just don't care enough, even if they only need to nominate one person. That's a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless.

And Lauren, I don't really like On-Topic GDs, for the simple fact that the whole forum is for that purpose. Having one thread for it seems counter intuitive, in my opinion.

There are plenty - just browse the forums a bit.

And the Forum Awards thread is still there - it's just that nobody's voting.

I'd do so myself, but I was the last one to vote, and I can't do it two posts in a row. Unless I count DA's [probably] spam post, which I might be able to use to bump it up again.
