The saga continues. Fortunately in over the year of running that this has gone on, things have progressed a bit as some companies are publishing select chapters of their manga online.
Note: Linking to scanlations by fan groups is something that can not be allowed. This is a discussion thread not a distribution channel.
With that said lets pick up where we left off.

I looked through ANN's Manga Encyclopedia and did not find an entry for a Gungrave manga. While that does not mean that one doesn't exist, there is probably a low chance that a Gungrave manga has been published, unless it is a doujinshi.
If I were you I would stick to the Naruto anime. The manga and anime have very little differences, and with the animation you have the added benefits of voices, music, and a new episode every week. VIZ is releasing the manga at a painfully slow rate, with a new volume every four months. At this point in time the anime is both cheaper and faster to follow. The anime should be caught up with VIZ's releases of the manga within the next two or three months.

Why does it take so long? Rurouni Kenshin is monthly, so it's possible for it to come out fast.

Naruto runs one to two chapters monthly in the English version of the manga anthology Shonen Jump. In order to keep the monthly releases ahead of the graphic novel releases, the graphic novels are not compiled until the ten-or-so chapters found in the original Japanese graphic novels. Most of the series running in Shonen Jump are released at the same rate:
Naruto Yu Yu Hakusho One Piece Dragon Ball "Z" Hikaru no Go! Shaman King
The series (Under the SJ) not serialized in the monthly Shonen Jump anthology are usually released monthly or bimonthly.

Also remember that the original Japanese dialogue has to be translated/adapted into English. That takes time as well, plus Viz is extremely horrible about putting out new material in a timely fashion.

Exile
Mastix That was a real let down that it got cancelled and had to end like that. It was way too rushed and it left many questions unanswered. I feel like we have so many big questions like why everyone is "alive" left as well as all of the small questions like Hades and everything. I wish when series got cancelled like this the author could just write up his idea for what the story should have been and release it for everyone to see.

So I finished the horror-scifi manga Fourteen and wow, that was really something alright. The horror aspects seemed all in all ok, it was suspenseful to read but what a feeling of dread.

Mastix I agree! The ending was too sudden. I want to know what happened to Akira's best friend too who took a knock on his head and became über strong due to no pain receptors.

Geo, Exile -- so it looks like Cage of Eden got cancelled. Not like they said it or anything, but with such a rushed ending, we can be sure that's what happened. Shame really. I was enjoying that. Seems like it got a nice but ultimately insufficient wrap up covering only the basic of basics. Here's hoping in vain for some kind of continuation. I'd like to know about Hades and what the hell happened to the world.
I haven't read a new manga in years. I just stick to Beelzebub, Bleach, and maybe once in a while Naruto. Still waiting on Highschool of the Dead scans.
Someone recommend something good please. I like the comedic ones but something with a good story plot always attracts me.
Read Magi dude. Pretty funny a lot of the time and great shounen action the rest. Seems right up your ally. I'm in love with it.
I'll start tomorrow when I have the chance, thanks. Is it ongoing?
