Who doesn't remember this from DMC2? XD Well according to here (scroll down past DMC4):

Possibly means we could see the return of this mode. I hope it actually has a point this time round as opposed to just being an endless battle with no end. That said, if they do it correctly it could prove to be entertaining for a while, fighting different sets of enemies at the same time (like an Abyss with some Hell Prides) that you don't actually meet during the course of the regular game. Though I think with the difficulty of DMC3, they could have done with a Bloody Palace in there to allow you to collect Red Orbs because I know many people had to do the first 2 missions over and over to get orbs for upgrades, heck, even I had to go back a couple of times to allow me to get a couple of upgrades to get past Cerebrus.

WORD. I noticed the same thing with lady...personlaly i use vergil..but im thinking about switcvhing to dante. A little tip for everyone using vergil...R1+ repeated taping of both square and triangle....you will do your combos..meanwhile the swors will keep coming, for an insane amount of extra damage. 9998? Im not sure If i belive all that. If you really did do it, than you have my sincere congratulations. But 99999 seems a little out of reach.

I find Vergil much better for this mode because he has all the weapons needs. If you are going to use Dante I sudjest you master Royalguard and equip him with Beowoulf and any other weapon of your choice. Also equip E&I and K.A for your guns. If you ever fight Lady consider yourself lucky after you beat her you will get a big Green Orb and A big White Orb.

Im in bloody palace as I speak and im on level 4800 and its taken me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Ive gone through the game twice with Vergil. Does any one find Dante or Vergil better for Bloody Palace?

It got too hard for me once I reached around level 3500 cause my Vergil didnt even beat easy or normal mode yet. But if you beat bloody palace mode you unlock Super Vergil ( Infinite Nelo Angelo Devil Trigger? )

I think it must have taken me 4 to 5 hours. I kept taking the fire path and only took the water path once. I also noticed that the monsters are predetermined. If you take the fire path you will fight the same monster as if you take the water path. You do not fight easier monsters if you take the water path, I used to think that.

How long did it take you to get to that level? It takes me 40 minutes to get to stage 3000 something.
