I don't see why an American relese would be after a British, English is English, and I am sure they'd be more eger to get it out in as much territory as possible.

in the uk at least....august 26 2005. As this is a german game which always seems to keep quiet about itself, its possible the game is limited to europe but could be purchased on the internet and sent to america. perhaps it will release in America, but probably later than uk.
as for gothic (the original) its very rare, try ebay.
