No that was just a joke (Even though I still think Street Fighter 3 is better). Anyway:

I'm probably several years late to this thread but still trying to revive my enthusiasm for SF as of current, now with the release of the online edition to SF3 for 2011. Here are my responses to the OP.

What is your favorite Street Fighter game?
Probably a toss-up between Alpha2 and SF3: 3rd Strike

What is your favorite Street Fighter series?
Alpha + Vs (Umm, does Darkstalkers count?)

What is your least favorite Street Fighter game?
Alpha

What is your least favorite Street Fighter series?
SF4++

What is your favorite versus game?
MVC (the very first one .. becuz part 2 and 3 were ridiculous and out of focus with the excessive characters)

What is your first Street Fighter game?
Super SF2 (SNES)

How many Street Fighter games have you played?
All (except the first one and the EX series)

Who is you favorite Shotokan fighter?
Sean!!! I know everyone says he's the worst character to play with, but I've mastered his playstyle, and able to compete against the higher tier characters. SEAN FTW!

I'm sorry, I know this is old, however this quote is way, way, way, way off here.

No way is 3S even remotely near Street Fighter II in terms of strategy vs strategy and overall game quality. In fact, no other Street Fighter game even comes close to Street Fighter II.

3S with the addition of parries was the most overpowered universal option, which devalued the game to a poor let's all just hug each other and play fighting game. No more long, mid-range strategies etc, etc, I could go on, however 3S is definitely not in the top most strategical SF games ever made.

The overall best Street Fighter game ever conceived was Street Fighter II : Hyper Fighting.

Well, V-ism does have the custom combos, but your attacks do less damage so it makes up for it somewhat. There are plenty of people, myself included, who personally don't like using V-ism.

For what specific reasons do you dislike the original SF2, Kokoro?

I personally think that Third Strike and Alpha 2 were the best. I like alpha 3 as well, but the overall nerfing of things like Alpha Counters as well as the dominance of V-ISM kind of hold it back.

Actually, Street Fighter 2 (Hyper Fighting version) was the first one I played. I know many people like Street Fighter 2, but I strongly disagree.

I suppose a lot of the big fans of SF2 grew up with it. Going back after playing the later games, I can see why you might not appreciate it as much.

I think the best would be between Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and Alpha 3. I have grown to like older games in some franchises, but I just still can't get into Street Fighter 2 that much.

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I would strongly disagree. SF2 and SF Alpha 3 are the best of the series.

well now, if someone here dosent like sf2, he dosent like fighting games , anyway, i cant really chose betwen the sf2 games, there all great fun to play, and hey, im a gamer, i have a lot of consoles at home, including a ps3, ps2, a snes, a mega drive and a hole lot of others. Lol, im a gamer, but i still have plenty of time to spend whit my friends and family.. and by the way, i still play sf2..... i always get my ass kicked bigtime, but i always come back.... i dont know why, maibe because the game(s) r so fun to play... And it dosent matter how old a game is, if its fun, then it must be played... dont forget the purpose of games: FUN ... games are meant to be played for fun.. and SF2, any game of that series sure is fun to play..
