Super Mario-kun

A Mario manga known as Super Mario-kun has been going on for a long time in Japan now. I don't think these series have come to America. I just hope that some time soon, they will.

I do not know the exact story. But I do know that it has been running for a pretty long time in Japan. From around 1991 to as recent to 2005!

WOWZERS!!! Mario in a Manga? I beleive that I am missing something big time. Although, I do not know what "Kun" means. I am hoping that Mario is a little different in the Manga than he is in the Video Games.

I saw a few volumes of this manga at JapanFest a few years ago. Ther were about 5 volumes for $7 each. I didn't have the money to buy it, unfortunately...

With the increasing release of more comedy and episodic manga stateside recently, there is a decent possibility that it could be licensed at some point.

Other then that, this looks kinda interesting. Might take a look into it, but it really doesn't interest me much.
