Want to test your knowledge and prove your fanaticism once and for all?
Well, here's your chance!

Approved by Solitaire, I present the "Ask Doctor Chibi" game! Here's how it works;

Rules

Members must PM me with their request to participate, and the first ten to be approved will be our players. Each player must have one anime/manga character chosen, whom they believe they have superior knowledge of regarding behavior, habits and personality.

The contestants will then be acting as if their character is a therapist/psychiatrist. Each round, a dilemma or a personal problem with be presented as a question, and each player must respond to that question as if it's their character speaking.

For example;

Dilemma - "My friend has been drinking a lot lately, and I think she may have a problem, but how do I confront her without hurting her feelings?"

Random101 playing as "Doctor Sanzo" responds with -
"Who cares? It's not your problem. Let her drink herself to death if that's what she really wants."

JohnnyObvious playing as "Doctor Miroku" responds with -
"I would try to comfort her by any means possible. Take her out for a nice dinner, then perhaps a nice sensual massage before talking about it in the hot tub."

There will be a three day period for every contestant to get their response in, so make sure you're willing to see this game through to the end. Missing the deadline will result in an automatic disqualification.

Voting

There will be three main judges, with appearances by guest judges as the need calls for them. Member voting IS allowed, but keep in mind that it will be a small percentage of the overall scores, and must be submitted on a 1-10 scale (10 being best, 1 being worst) for EVERY player entry.

Voting is based on who's pulling off the best representation of how their character would solve a problem and/or give advice. Whoever gives the least convincing answer will be eliminated from the round until there's only one person standing.

With that said, the contest is officially open for business!

Okey smokey, as soon as Tidus and Daisy make up their minds regarding the characters they'd like to play, we can start another thread.

Also, I'd like additional confirmation PM's from all those who had signed up before that to let me know that they're still around, seeing as it's taken a few weeks to get everything organized.

Noted. Now, with Daisy's entry offer and Silver's PM, that means there's only one more official slot to fill before I can actually start the Mark II thread. Any takers?

Also, even if certain folks have decided to abstain for playing the second round, they can still offer their services as "guest judges" if they feel they're fairly confident with certain series.

some schools like mine have grad a month early b4 thier true graduation for exams and such. I may as well play again. ill pm u the character.

I wouldn't worry about it. At this point, we need all the players we can get. When is grad week typically over with, anyway? Don't wanna start the game when half the people can't play and end up getting disqualified, you know?
