You need to use lumos duo to solidify them , then flipendo to kill them

frustrated!

Hi all

Any help would be appreciated. I've read all the forums on this and cannot kill those hinkypunks!!! Is the lumos duo SUPPOSED to actually light up? Mine doesn't. I'm close to giving up on this game. HELP PLEASE...THANKS!
