Yes you have to save AND buy the mask in the same area of time
If you play the song of Time then you will have to start all over again.

thanks i'll try that. do you have to save the old woman and buy the mask during the same area of time, wihtout playing the song of time??

You must have the Giant Wallet and 500 rupees in it. Then, at 10:00pm on the 3rd night go to the shop and buy the mask. (But you can only buy it if you saved the old woman from the burglar on the first night at midnight)

You buy it in the curiosity shop at night, but I think you have to help the bomb shop lady though. I'm not absolutely sure what night it is that you can buy it either. I'll look in my Players guide.

i was able to do the sidequest b/c kafie was hiding behind the rocks.
sorry, this has nothing to do with sacons hideout, but i can't get the all night mask, please help. thanx

How is that possible too do the sidequest by doing that? I rolled through the crack before, and there was nobody to stand on the switch. I couldn't do it, but I do like it that you can put on the Fierce Deitys mask.

thanks, i found it. i had already helped out the old lady so sacon never came, but i found out that u can roll thru the crack at the side, and then do the quest. even if u don't make it, u can roll thru the side again and do it all over again

Actually you can't help the bomb shop lady cause if you do you'll mess up the Anju/Kafei sidequest.

I'm not so sure about that, but even if it's true you could undo helping the Bomb shop woman with the Song of Time.
