Just acquired job 39 with all of the spam, er, scenage that goes with it. Hoping to get job 40 now. Billy Lee's guide claims this is the only time you can get job 40, but there's no one at the window in the Testa guild. Can anyone advise? I don't want to progress and miss the job!

Bro i was about to start a topic asking this.
All my chars alread are in lv 45, so i don't need to train or hunt for wanted monsters anymore because i got then all. After i finished the job39 i saved and i don't saw the job 40 (i don't even leaved the city or stoped in others builds).
I remember that the same thing happens in another jobs too in the future and i'm afraid if one of then are required to get Annerita.
I thinked that i need to convert the arc the lad2 game because in the first time that i played i don't are using a convert file but no. I still don't noticied any change in the game (i'm only get level very fast and the Choko minigame you see her in the Akura form to hunt for itens. very cute).

You have to go to Gislem -right- after getting job 39 - before you do anything toward completing job 39.

I found out how to pass 42 it simple u fallow the pattern in order he visite all the shop and you take the next one like i went to the inn in testa he said the item shop u go there they say the pub now instead going to the pub u go to the monster shop . And You catch the fake lead gaurd

when i went to Gislem's guild i only got mission 41 not 40 i cant seem to get 40 then dose anyone know how to complete 42 and the fact that u never seem to be able to catch tosh guard

Ah, I got it. Since it's not in Billy Lee's guide (unless there's been an update in... the last three months or so?), I'll note it here, spoiler-free:
After getting job 39, go to Gislem's guild. Job 40 is available; if you take it you have to complete it RIGHT THEN so be prepared. Scene, fight, scene, scene. Ta da.
