I'm trying to play on win 2000 but thi message appears when i open the game.

PIII 500 128 ram ATI rage 8mb

I'm using windows 7 system and i am also getting the fatal string manager message every time i try to play Yuri's revenge what can i do to fix the problem ?

right click on icon, properties, compatibility, uncheck the box next to administrator.

go into your westwood folder
right click on the main executable and the application
click "run as administrator"
and click "Windows 95" in compatibility settings.
I have windows 7 and it worked.
also the same applies for yuri's revenge expansion pack.

Thanks very much Fiyastartah- this cleared up my problem right away.
I right-clicked on the desktop shortcut, went to properties, compatibility, and then checked the boxes for Compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and Privilege level - run this program as an administrator.
now i don't have video, just i have music and other sound... :S
