Snes had the best rpgs of any system In my opinion. im getting a hold of a lot of old snes games, what do you think i need to make the rgpness complete

Im currently working on getting my husband into all the classic snes rpgs. Im still amazed that hes never played any of the best games ever made. My snes gets more play time than my wii, 3ds, and computer together! This summer we've beaten Secret of Mana, breath of fire, and are almost done with breath of fire 2. Next up, chrono trigger. I hope he appreciates what a badass gamer wife he landed.

I think I might have replied to this thread before, but I would have to say the best RPG's on the SNES are Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy II(IV), Final Fantasy III(VI), Breath of Fire II and Secret of Mana. CT itself is one of the greatest games ever made, not just for the SNES but video games in general.

The best snes RPG was Terranigma, it was a fascinating mix of fantasy, real world history and contemporary Japanese issues. Some of the best RPGS are from Japan, i agree with Necrin.

My faves are:
Chrono Trigger
FF3
FF2
Bahamut Lagoon
Secret of Mana

and i love Ruduro, well the translated version!
