Well I would agree that the most annoying level in Sonic 2 is not nearly as annoying as the most annoying one in Sonic 3 (Carnival Zone).

I love both, but vastly prefer Sonic 2 if I was going to play through the whole thing. Several of the levels in 3 just annoy me. Don't know why, but there aren't as many fun levels in my opinion.

Got to be sonic 3. It was the probably the first sonic game I played. My brother would not let me play 1 and 2 when he had them.

I've played most Sonic Genesis games, and I like them all. But Sonic 2 is one I never WANT to complete, because it is so frustrating! I love 3 though.

No but the music on Sonic 2 could ONLY be heard when you were super sonic, therefore making it special.
They should have done that with Sonic 3. Not the same song, but a different one exclusive to Super Sonic.

Still I think the Super Sonic music on Sonic 3 sounds better than on Sonic 2
