Is this the forum for the Metal Slug Advance game that's supposed to be coming to the GBA in the US? I know Nintendo's making a MS game for the GBA, since it's in their magazine, but they just call it Metal Slug Advance right now. I searched for it on Neoseeker and nothing came up, so I'm assuming this is it.
I didn't get a chance to play the old MS games so a port to the GBA would be awesome.

Hey, b1fien43. You should register with neoseeker, I've seen you post a lot in lots of forum here, plus its free and easy to use.
I don't know how... and besides, what's the difference? P.S. MS rules.
Click here to join neoseeker. Its good because you get your own neoforum and you can PM other members privately and its easier to get to your favourite forums.

This isn't a port, but infact a game based on the gameplay of Metal Slug 1st & 2nd Mission for Neogeo Pocket Colour. You can, however, get a very bad port of Metal Slug X for Playstation (then again, it does have those extra things like the art gallery, minigames and whatnot) and Metal Slug 3 for Playstation 2 or Xbox. I'm quite excited about this game, but the missing 2-player and the fact that there are only 5 missions (compared to Metal Slug 2nd Missions's 38 or so missions, although they were all very short) is kinda putting me off, as well as the many delays. Also, couldn't they have kept the original characters? The six they already have is enough for me, but they may be planning like an 8-player Metal Slug game or something. If only.

I know that, but what I'm really talkin'(or typin', whatever) about here is that the MS's on Neo Geo Pocket System were called Metal Slug:1st Mission & Metal Slug:2nd Mission whereas the ones on consoles & arcades are called Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3, etc.
P.S. It will probably be 1000 times better than Operation C.
Yeah, I'm not sure, perhaps something to do with the people who make the game. Perhaps they have their own little way of naming the Metal Slug games, as long as they're good, it doesn't matter to me.
